Highmark has contracted with certain durable medical equipment (DME) providers to form the Select DME Network. The Select DME Network officially takes effect Jan. 1, 2017. Physicians may start referring to the Select DME Network providers immediately.
As a result, the majority of DME providers contracted with Highmark through Dec. 31, 2016, will no longer be contracted to provide DME to Highmark Medicare Advantage members, effective Jan. 1, 2017. Highmark commercial members can continue to use providers from our broader DME network; however, to receive the highest level of benefits possible you should refer Highmark commercial members to Select DME Network providers.
